Based on our slab table design we’ve played with live-edge wood for this piece. The elements of the table are fastened together with butterfly joints and stainless steel hardware, an homage to George Nakashima. The example shown here is made with locally harvested osage orange wood and walnut joinery and intended for outdoor dining.

The uvula (morph series 1), a multi-functional chair/stool/side table, was used in a spread promoting eco-friendly breweries in a recent LCBO Enviro Chic publication. We’re always happy to be seen along side Steamwhistle, Brothers Dressler beer of choice.

Inspired by the classic chaise longue designed by Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand, this is a machine designed for relaxation and comfort. The bent laminated curves provide structure, comfort and organic elegance. The rotating adjustment hardware was salvaged from an old drafting board and allows the chaise to pivot for a personalized position.
